A Norwegian saxophonist born in Oslo on April 25, 1971, Trygve Seim is a
musician trained in the school of contemporary music. A student at the Trondheim
Conservatory, he went on to study composition, and in 1991 formed the group
Airamero with Christian Wallumrod, Johannes Eick and Per Oddvar Johansen. After
recording an album, Trygve Seim joined pianist Jon Balke's band, which took the
name 1300 Oslo, and collaborated on albums by The Source collective, where he
was reunited with Johansen, alongside Oyvind Braekke and Mats Eilersten. More
