The Filipino rock singer Unique was born as "Unique Torralba Salonga" in Manila, Philippines, on April 26, 2000. At fourteen years old, he joined IV of Spades as the group's original lead singer. Unique remained with the band from 2014 to 2018, appearing on songs like "Hey Barbara" — which won three awards at the 2018 Await Awards, including "Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist" and "Best Record" — along the way.
