Kim Tae-hyung (December 30, 1995), better known by his stage name V, is a South
Korean singer and actor who rose to fame as a vocalist for the hugely popular
boy band BTS. Born in Daegu and raised in Geochang County, he harbored ambitions
of becoming a professional entertainer from a very early age, taking saxophone
lessons in middle school and eventually becoming a trainee for Big Hit
