Duo formed by brothers Donnie and Johnny Van Zant, the former the leader of the band 38 Special and the latter a member since 1987 of Lynyrd Skynyrd, a band formed back in 1964 by their elder brother, Ronnie Van Zant, who died in the plane crash that also claimed the lives of other musicians on August 20, 1977.
