Wanda Sá is a bossa nova singer and guitarist from Brazil. At the age of 13 she had guitar lessons with bossa nova pioneer Roberto Menescal, making her album debut with 'Vagamente' in 1964, when she was 19. The album included one of her most loved ballads 'Inutil Paisagem'. She appeared on the album 'Brasil '65' with the Sergio Mendes Trio. Her next solo album was 'Softly!' in 1965. In 1969 she married songwriter Edu Lobo and she took time away from music to be with her family during this time, making a comeback in the late '80s.
