Although formed in 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee, the GMA Dove Award-nominated
band We Are Messengers also rooted in Monaghan, Ireland, where frontman Darren
Mulligan was born and raised. After relocating to the US, he launched the
Christian rock group with his wife, vocalist Heidi Mulligans, as well as
guitarist Caleb Clingan, bassist Matthew Montgomery, and drummer Alex McVey. We
Are Messengers, the band's self-titled debut album, was released by Word Records
