Wilder Woods
Wilder Woods is the solo project of Bear Rinehart, the American
singer/songwriter best known as the frontman of Needtobreathe. Born as "William
Stanley Rinehart III" on September 6, 1980, he grew up in Greenville, South
Carolina, where he earned the nickname "Bear" thanks to his athletic talent on
the football field. Rinehart formed Needtobreathe in 2001, and the band found a
wide audience of contemporary Christian music fans before breaking into the
secular mainstream with 2009's gold-certified album The Outsiders.
