Emmanuel Sow was born in April 1993 in Cergy-Pontoise. He spent part of his childhood in Cameroon, where his father came from, a famous musician in the country, known as M'Backé Ngoup'Emanty. Emmanuel Sow learned the rudiments of the piano there, before returning to France following the sudden death of his mother.
