Eduardo Sarante, widely recognized by the name Yiyo Sarante, is a Dominican
singer often dubbed "La Voz de La Salsa" (The Voice of Salsa). He was born in
Baní, province of Peravia, and is the seventh of nine siblings, with five of
them being musicians. Yiyo Sarante's passion for music began at a young age, and
he participated in various orchestras in the Dominican Republic. In 1999, he
made his singing debut, performing in the tourist area of Bávaro. By 2003, he
