Yoshiko Kishino (born on October 15, 1960) is a classically-trained pianist,
composer, and arranger whose influences range from rock to bossa nova and
contemporary jazz. Her first three albums, Fairy Tale (1995), Photograph (1996),
and Rendez-Vous (1997) were all recorded in New York. All three releases were
well-received by critics both internationally and locally. In 1999, she released
You Are So Beautiful, which became one of the best-selling Japanese albums that
year. Tenderness (2000) was recorded in Los Angeles with the help of a full
