Karen Marie Aagaard Ørsted, who goes by her stage name MØ, is a
singer-songwriter of electronic pop from Denmark who took an interest in music
as a child and in 2006 released tracks under the name The Edmunds. She formed
MOR in 2007 with Josefine Struckmann Pedersen and they produced two EPs before
disbanding in 2012. Following concert and television appearances as a solo
artist, she released her debut album 'No Mythologies to Follow' in 2014 and she
won prizes in the Danish Music Awards. International notice followed and she
began performing around the world.
