Jazz trio Phronesis was formed in 2005 by Danish bassist Jasper Høiby. The piano
trio initially featured Swedish drummer Anton Eger and Swedish pianist Magnus
Hjorth. The trio released their debut album, Organic Warfare, in 2007. The album
received critical acclaim thanks to the band’s reliance on strong melodies. In
2009, Hjorth was replaced by British pianist Ivo Neame and the band released the
album Green Delay in 2009. Phronesis recorded their third album, Alive (2010),
in concert in London, England with guest drummer Mark Guiliana. Jazzwise
