Hugo Lapointe

Born on February 13, 1977 in Hull (Canada), Hugo Lapointe is a Quebec rock singer. He is also the brother of singer Éric Lapointe. He studied music at Cégep Lionel-Groulx and played in bars. He released his first album, Célibataire , in May 2004. The title track, as well as the songs "Les Allumeuses" and "On fait l'amour ", hit the Quebec radio charts. In February 2007, he released his second album, La Trentaine , which included two covers of classics: Tex Lecor's "Le Frigidaire " and Beau Dommage's "23 décembre ".
