Born on February 13, 1977 in Hull (Canada), Hugo Lapointe is a Quebec rock
singer. He is also the brother of singer Éric Lapointe. He studied music at
Cégep Lionel-Groulx and played in bars. He released his first album, Célibataire
, in May 2004. The title track, as well as the songs "Les Allumeuses" and "On
fait l'amour ", hit the Quebec radio charts. In February 2007, he released his
second album, La Trentaine , which included two covers of classics: Tex Lecor's
